For the past few months, I've been in close communications with Wy, Sl, Rd, Gr, Jrm, Mt, Dn so there was no real inclination to write here. That said, I'm honoured Gs wanted to meet up to spend time to catch up, since the last time we properly chatted was like... last year? I love how it's like a quarterly spiritual review everytime we sit down to talk. Awesome stuff =) Looking forward to our meetup on Saturday. Perhaps this time, we can talk more about him than me.

Things are looking up a tad better in terms of cashflow.

However, if I intend to hit anywhere near my target for my baby by the end of this year, I've gotta buck up on the sales front & apply those negotiation skills. So thank God for Jm who very nicely offered some big tips for my call script and helped remind me the true objective of cold-calling. About time I revisit afternoons of phone slammin's and quotation sending too =)

Since experience tells me the inertia of procrastination aint gonna get me nowhere, I'm gonna start rollin' on 14th September.

That said, thank God for Dn for the direct referrals =) Aside from my relief at finding a Christian friend in the marketplace, I believe this is one friendship that can go far :) woot woot!

Just as the thought flashed, Mg told me about another freelance graphic designer. Can't wait to checkout her portfolio. If work gets too heavy, at least I have the choice to delegate work and find some time to do something else before I turn into a hermit.
