I don't know what's going on in your life but it helps if I can be informed.
I don't need the details (I can be a listening ear but I know better than to expect that you’ll open up to me) but just the bare minimum to know if I should update you or don’t even bother.

Never mind that we aint close – fact is, we're supposed to work in a team right? And team members stand in for one another when one needs help.
How am I supposed to know if I'm supposed to stand in for you if you don't tell?

You don't need to tell me that I need to be there cos I will be there (duh!)
You DO, however, need to reply my messages so that in the event I’m not around, someone else can cover what needs to be done.
Or are you taking me for granted?

There’s no such thing as a spam sms from me. If you are a recipient of my mass sms on something urgent and important, I expect you to reply, no matter how late. And personally, I’m sick of bugging you week after week (no, it should be month after month) for updates. From your lack of response, I believe you are too.

I know you’re going through something. But what marks one’s maturity is one’s ability to press on and continue doing what needs to be done despite the adversaries.

I just pray that God’s seeing you through whatever hypothetical mess you are in right now.
Since you’re handling this hypothetical mess, I shall not bother you with apparently ‘trivial’ matters.

And until I see a msg from you, you will not be seeing any from me.
