As the date drew near, it was heartening to hear everyone exchange costume ideas & tips.

For the siao-on ones, costume rental is a piece of cake.
For the indifferent, it got increasingly hard to ignore the cajolings of their colleagues to "please la, GO GET A COSTUME!" because "everyone is dressing up!"

Seeing how this is the company's 1st ever D&D, the CEO is nice enough to give the committee time off to setup the place =)
