Now, to answer that question once & for all, why I choose my name, we gotta take a look at this list:

Adalia (Hebrew, Arabic, German): Refuge of God, just & noble one
Dara (Hebrew, Persian): Compassion, wisdom, angel of rains & rivers
Rayna (Hebrew): Pure, clean
Karla (German): Strong & womanly
Breanna (Celtic/Gaelic): Strong, virtuous, honorable
Vera (Latin, Slavic): Truth, faith
Andra (Greek): Strong & courageous
Ramona (Spanish): Wise protector
& a few more others but I'm lazy to type them all out...

Dilemma: (no, it's NOT a name choice, you twit) Either Dara or Adalia.

Pronounciation wise, I love the way Adalia sounds, but the meaning of Dara definitely kick ass. ANGEL OF RAINS & RIVERS leh! Short of watering people with blessings, it'll make me a full-fledged compassionate & wise angel *flutters wings solemnly* Unfortunately, I'm too heavy to be airborne... & NO ONE can pronounce it properly!

Irritating Brother No. 1: Huh? What Da-La? & what Ah-Da-Li-Ah (hey, you big round one) Why your name so strange one?

Me: Where got strange? At least no one else has it...

Irritating Brother No. 2: Yah, cos no one else can pronounce it what! *smack on back*

Well, this is no different. With caffeine zinging through my veins after countless cups of milo+coffee (=mocha!) , I'm still drifting off to LaLa-land.
