The Marriage Builder 2006

Just attended the 2nd session of the 14 lesson marriage enrichment course in church. (Hey, it only makes sense to go BEFORE marriage and not after... )

Had just finished editting the Chinese sermon (yah, can u believe it? CHINESE! Phew, talk abt challenging yourself...) & while I was waiting for the file to be uploaded, I chanced upon this old entry from a good fren's livejournal.

Friggin' made me cry for like the 3rd time today...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down, probably will.
You will have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it's harder each time.
You'll break some hearts too. So, remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
You take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt before because every sixty seconds you spend being upset, is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Find that someone who calls you beautiful instead of hot;
who calls you back when you hang up on them;
who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.

Wait for the one who kisses your forehead;
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats;
who holds your hand in front of their friends.

Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much they care about you and how lucky they are to have you.
Wait for the one who turns to their friends and says, "...that's her. She's the one!"


Need any more reasons why I feel so blessed in this relationship? I don't think so.
