One of my New Year resolutions is to NOT be a procrastinator.
Terrible terrible, I tell you. So terrible that I'm shopping for the sisters' presents a day b4 Christmas.
Ultra last minute. Sheesh.
Seeing how GW has better taste in
fashion than me (thank God he's not gay), I dragged him along for the ride.
The air in Orchard Road (yes, I'm crazy enough to go there) is pregnant with that festive cheer that can't be dampened by anything, no, not even the weather. If anything, the cold winds just reminds me of
snow *woohoo! cheap thrill*
Parents shuffled along their skipping kids, lugging tonnes of Toys 'R' Us goodies, exchanging sheepish glances with other parents while their offsprings eyed the packages, grins on their faces.
Families strewn all over the cafes with their burmuda-clad teenagers clutching bags & bags of hastily wrapped Christmas merchandise, chugging on their ice mochas.
Temptation to just curl up in a comfy couch with my Starbucks & people-watch the whole day, 1920's Christmas carols softly playing around crept in...
But
NO, I have to join the sale-obsessed crowd & jostle with the aunties of Singapore for some pre-Christmas shopping... Argh!!!

Quietly taking a break frm being dragged all over the place by
kan-cheong-spider gf

The face of someone who's gaining
one TWO kg...
Sunny smiles in front of the Takashimaya Christmas treeLater in the night, it was off to Aunt Jennifer's for the annual family Christmas celebration. As usual, the food's great =)

"Ok, everyone got their song sheet? Ruth, you ready?"

"Ready"

After word got round that Ah Bao's in choir, he got dragged into doing a solo. Much to my horror, I got pulled in too.
*Excuse my flab. I think we now know where the milkshakes went... Too much good food, too little self-control*

Mesmerized by our harmonious voices... or so I'd like to think.

GodMa & GodPa came wearing these jingly hats...
