There's Something About Xiao Hei


He's been ard since last Monday & boy, has he gotten alot of attention in my Blk.

Reasons?

1) He wasnt sighted b4 in this area.
2) He looks full-grown, healthy& strong, and has shiny fur.
3) He's REALLY REALLY tame.

Somehow, calling him a stray is doing him & his owner (what kinda owner is this anyway?!?!?) injustice. He'll be quietly splayed on the ground, guarding the mailboxes in the afternoon or patrolling the void deck, checking out everyone who exits the lifts. Occassionally, he'll earn the pat on the head but he's prob wondering why everyone is calling him Blackie (the creativity of Singaporeans...). GW calls him Xiao Hei. So shall I.

Most of the time, he's just waiting, waiting patiently. For something. Someone.

The neighbours have gotten used to him & guess what, the bridges of neighbourly ties have been started, all thanks to 6-second (I counted) lift-conversations of "that black dog which is always ard downstairs" every sleepy morning.

I wonder if he likes bread in the morning. Do dogs eat bread? Anyway, let's pray some dumb a** wont feed him CHOCOLATE.
