I didnt realize how out of touch I've been with the CAs of S'pore until a fren got me to check this out & get back to him if she's "chio anot?

Let's just say I was thiiiiisssss close to blurting out that she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen & how come we haven seen her ard the media b4. Given her features, getting a job shd be a sweet piece of cake. I was just abt to give him a thump on the back with a "your taste in women has improved. well done" when he told me "she's plastic lah. go plastic even you can (not that it'll make me pretty thou.... bleh)".

After viewing a couple of sources, I was am pretty sure she did went for surgery... & pretty extreme @ that. It's not even cosmetic enhancement, it's a 180 deg change with cosmetic reconstruction. I cant find a sliver of resemblance to her former self.

Remember that Extreme Makeover show? Those ppl still look like themselves, only sooo much better. I find there's nothing wrong dabbling with cosmetic enhancement. It's like how makeup accentuates one's features & brings them into focus. It's like how we all love to be beautiful. The same principle applies - You Feel Good When You Know You Look Good. It's not a mask u hide behind. You simply rectified the prob with a more... well, permanent & expensive solution. Read the last paragraph of this. At the end of the day, you look gorgeous... but hey, you're still you =)

& yes, I agree that the reason why cosmetic surgery exists stems from our need to look good. All the time. (Ah, don't tell me u honest-to-goodness love each & every part of yourself all the time. Think b4 u speak, thanks)

All I can think of was how desperate she must have been to clinch that modelling job & leave her past behind. (Note: I didnt say how desperate she must have been to be beautiful. She dun need that level of change to attain more beauty. But throw a modelling contract in...)

Changing ur God-given features on sucha drastic scale don't seem normal... Denying it simply makes it worse.
