Plan A: Decorate Yuxin's room with balloons & surprise her with cake & presents when she comes back from tuition at abt 9.30pm.

Enters Yuxin. Apparently, tuition was cancelled & she came home early... So there goes Plan A & in comes Plan B with Yuxin banished to her kitchen until we're ready... Sheesh...
