Yup, it's Randall Tan Weiguang's Bdae on the 14th July.
Venue: Tian Tian Huo Guo Xiao Chu Time:  Yummylicious sight for the foodies!!! Woohoo!!!  PreCake Cutting Shot 1: Showing off the manicure, acting cute, acting grotesque. And while I grinned away with an orchid tucked ala Jasmine Trias behind my ear......  ...... it's distressing to know 2 grown men (or so we'll like to think) are posing with the flowers too... NUS Commencement Ceremony 2005: 8th July, 10.00am A Day of Flurries & Hurries We finally zipped outta the house @ 9.00am & sped our way down to the University Cultural Centre, with Dad driving the fastest he ever had in his entire life. Rushed into the dressing room @ 9.40am (horribly late) after a few desperate phone calls to Randall, tugged on the gown, pinned my mortar board into place, threw on my golden sash & finally, took a breath. The whole place was a perfect pandemonium & it's juuust what my nerves needed. Here and there, u see the occasional chatty girlfren brandishing her proud bouquet of flowers + her equally-chatty clique, with the boyfren awkwardly trying not to make the atmosphere more awkward between himself and the father of the "All graduates, please proceed to the seating area NOW." Poor usher yelled his lungs out. Jostled with the merry crowd & finally heaved a sigh of relief @ the sight of a familiar face - CHAO YONG!!! Finally eased into my seat. Phew. I made it.  The UCC frm the inside.... I waited & waited for the videocam to roll past me so I can snap myself on the big screen (heh heh chor luan)...... & just when I thot it's nvr going to film me & I off my camera, it did! ARGH!!!  BAH-LOOONNNSSSS!!!! LOADS & LOADS OF BAH-LOOONNNSSSS!!!! Everyone went loony after two bunches of these were released, right on cue, after they closed the ceremony =)  With the two VIPs who made my education financially possible *muacks* love u both =) Thank you for believing in me =) Ok, frm here on, it'll be a mighty long entry if I post all the photos up. SO, here're the group shots & individual shots of special frens =)  Qi-Ge aka the matchmaker... no no, he's not into manufacturing flammable stuff. The only reason why he looks so gay here (gay as in happy, not gay-gay u noe), is cos Uncle Bin just told a lame joke...('''-_-)  & now for the ppl who left more than one footprint in my heart... Gary =) Ever the "ti tie" darling, he nicely stooped lower so I can "kao zhai ta de jian bang shang" while my parents watched warily from one corner, worrying abt their daughter's taste in men BWAHAHHAHA!!!!  Here's Randall The NameSnatcher, erm, nicely lending me his degree scroll cos I was too lazy to retrieve mine... Bet the ah-ma at the back must be wondering if I even graduated at all... & I BET she must be thinking I'm one of those boh-tak-chek ppl... Hrumph! I mugged okie, Auntie!  AHA! The girls =) Huimin, Weishi and Mini-Me... I'm so kateh! argh... Oh don't let that sweet smile on Weishi's face fool you. The minute the shot was over, she kicked off her court shoes & attempted to fade into the background... until the next photographer comes along. I totally know how u feel man.... & of course, Huimin's the lady here, standing beside the 2 siao ones.  The lab guys: Edric, Francis & Keith w lil ol me again =P  the 4/4 girls: Biyin, WenWen, me & ChuiPing =), from the class of 4/4 '99  Featuring two guests who have nothing to do w Chemistry, what so ever... Ange & Mel!!! Yes, they're doing the "Jean" pose. Turn head slightly to left, tilt head down & smile sweetly... CHEESE!!!!  The 4/4 bunch again, this time with Ange =)  Happy (KaiXin), Sharon & me... Met them ard sch in Yr 1, only got to know their names in Yr 2 Chem Maj Outing.  Jasmine, Xiaohui, AnneMarie, Seeyin & Serene... If I don't say, bet u cant tell we're all wearing the same shirt & pants outfit from G2000, rite? Sigh~~~  In the very first LT27 we all entered for CM1101: Introduction To Chemistry... or so I think... That's Hanyao, Kaixin, Stanley, Randall, Sharon, Weishi, Blondie, Janice & Gary. We went a little mad pointing excitedly at spots we used to sit in that formidable LT...  Not fair lor, I'm the only one doing stupid poses on stage. Wassup man... U'all gotta geddup & do dat hip-hop thang, yo? At least try to act cool like Guang or look victorious like KaiXin & Weishi lah...  RAZZZA MAJAZZZ!!! AAAAAAhhhhh... Better =) Hmmm... issnt is amusing that the shortest person will hold the mortar board up the highest?...  Our beloved Science Library.... heehee... (Btw, I've nvr touched a single journal from this section b4 that day. Lame rite?)  Are we hardworking or what man!!!!  The Usual Place, The Usual Gang *too bad Uncle Ow can't join us =( *  In the Physical Lab: At the bewilderment of the rest, I happily made them wore goggles b4 we posed @ the fumehoods. Never mind the lab techs giggling @ us behind the counter.... bleh...  Er har har... aren't we glad we NEVER ever needed to use this, guys? (Author's Note: This is the shower one uses if one has harzardous chemicals spilled on oneself...)  It was a day of spoilt shoes, painful toes, blistering feet & then some... Which reminds me, I can't WAIT for my new shoes heh heh heh... Check out Mavis' blog for designs =) Not all are posted up yet thou, so DO CHECK REGULARLY FOR UPDATES!!!  By the time everything was over...  GRADUATE LOR!!! Haha! Love this pic =) Still remembered the line-up of photographers as we gathered near & threw at the count of three... See if u can spot me =P A chapter of my life closed, a once-in-a-lifetime experience I'm sooo glad I didn't miss. I entered the place with zero knowledge of where I'm heading for & left, ready to take on the working world. Bring It On baby!!! Woohoo! The only bummer (& a huge one at that) is that I don't have the chance to take pics of all those wonderful ppl I met in sch. Ppl with whom I prob wont ever see again but who have, nevertheless, left a footprint somewhere in my heart. Once again, a great thankyou to everyone who've made every memory of my uni-life so, well, memorable & unforgettable (wassup with all the repetitions man...) NUS was a second-home to me because of u =) Muacks to all who matter... |

MainComm Dinner @ The Line, ShangriLa. Food's great & FARKING EXPENSIVE @ $65 a head. Thank God it's free... at least for the rest of them while I'm reminded of the TWO precious duty I FORGOT to do. *can literally see money flying out the window*

Once upon a time, there lived a girl who was as desperate as a Desperate Housewife with really bad taste in men *BWAHAHAH* & there came a day when she and her fiance decides to get married....  MA!!! Wo jia ren le!!! (Author's Note: Don't Ange & AhSoon look like tong ban tong xue??? HAHAHA!!!) While the bride takes pictures with her bunch of chio-bu girlfriends......  Little did she know that there's a dark secret lurking around her new groom (I told u she had bad taste in men)......  HAO LA, NI ZHE GE SI GUI!!! Kan ni gan bu gan zai ZAO SAI!!!!!! Being the philanderer he is, the bad-tasting-groom decided to target the bride's fren *tsk tsk tsk*  Bride'sFren: Are you serious??? Groom: I where got NOT SERIOUS??? *stares with a serious expression* (Author's Note: that is my drink that cheapo Gerard is holding btw)  Smart Fren: BAH!!! Pian ren de... Not-So-Smart Groom: Dun believe me!!! *grabs a reluctant fresh fig & proceeds to aim @ SmartFren's face* To add insult to injury, the bride tormented KK with this scene:  ... & that's the end of the poor groom... YOU ZAO SAI!!! WAN TO DIE ISSIT?!?!?!! (Author's Note: It's starting to sound really wrong, the bride/groom thingy, but I cant think of any other analogies. Bleh. I cant be a producer or director. Bleh Bleh.) Anyway, here's the entire maincomm. The only foodie shots I took are of the chocolate fondue, unfortunately =(  A very happy Mel & AhSoon playing with the fountain =)  Everyone say FONDUE!!!  Oh yah!!! Must make a mention abt the PM Race that took place in that afternoon (well, feeling kinda nostalgic abt NUS suddenly...) Just look at how dedicated our NUS DragonBoat team is... they train until they chao tah, grew shorter *u noe... kiew zhui muahahah* & well, give a sheh look in photos! Applause for the team for getting gold! Yay!!! Oh, & Kelly is in SHANGHAI now *waves madly @ Kelly's nerdy photo in comp... & if I show it here, he'll kill me* Hey dude, sorry I couldn't take the morning off last monday.
