U cant imagine the torture the first row had to tahan cos we're trying to get everyone's head in hahahaha.... Unfortunately, Jacqueline, Christopher & Sister Yah Lan could not join us that nite.

There's been q a no of gifts this year: YingYing bought the sisters those WinnieThePooh cans w cookies & the brothers sweets, Gershon passed out mini-CDs and cards, Huimin chose different presents for everyone *mine's a pair of colourful socks! Kawaii!*, ShengDa & GuanJie got everyone sweets, Joanna & Liling painstakingly made us all frenship bands w colours suited to our preferences & personalities =), Hazel & PC both gave cards, Jesmon passed out boxes of chocolate sticks & Melvin gave us the latest model of a test-tube (made of plastic & costing 5 bucks each!!! There's actually a layer of sterilized nutrients & a layer of some gel for DNA analysis *he calls it a "revealer" as it reveals critical info abt DNA*, cotton wool & song lyrics to "Hope of Love" inside each) As for me, I made them cards with everyone's names spelt out using punched-out flowers =) Added this line to each card: "... If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Mark 9:23 ... Amazing what renewal one gets from a verse sometimes... I pray that everyone'll be constantly be on fire for God & have evergrowing faith & love for God & His children =)

First nite, we had cell group meeting =) ... This was the last cell group meeting N182 will have for the year... I dun noe if it's the last cell group we'll be having as N182 thou, since we're gonna multiply very soon... With Joshua playing praise & worship songs while the rest of us sang our hearts out to God, I felt the atmosphere change as I felt God's presence... That familiar feeling of charged-up enthusiasm with the underlying comfort of peace lingering after every song verse... Somehow, it got stronger that nite as smiling eyes glanced into one another during praise & tongues spewed out tunes that harmonized beautifully into one voice for God & His Glory...

HAHAHA... Jesmon the hair-dyer & Hazel his assistant... & Shujuan the er... dyeee haha. Surprisingly Ghim-Soh's skills quite pro hahaha...See him so xi xin de apply dye on ShuJuan's hair just arouse the urge within me to dye my hair too! ARGH...

ShengDa, GuanJie & a posing Melvin strumming up a storm in the bedless room hahaha... Seeing them play I oso ghin so asked Mel if I can learn.... & b4 I knew it...

MY FIRST GUITAR LESSON!!! heehee... can only play chords A, Am, Bm, C, G, D & Dm for one song thou... Have to remind myself to buy the steel string for the dust-gathering classical guitar @ home & learn how to string & tune the instrument with the tuning fork... Cant wait to practise again!!! heehee...

Ok here's Gershon leaping into the air in an attempt to stir up the flames hahaha... Out of all the brothers taking turns @ fanning, he's the most drama... *smack forehead*

After we've played out a comical drama depicting Melvin's life before and after he received salvation on the 2nd nite, we serenaded him with a personalized song, with a guitar strumming to the strains of JayChou's "QingTian". Can see that he's very touched... heehee... The Power of Love in action =)

P.S.: GuanJie's acting damn POWER man!!! Hahaha... & Gershon damn funny acting as Pastor speaking in Hokkien hahahah!!!! Our dear brother serenading us back after he'd given out his gifts for us... hearing his voice as it quivers mid-song with emotion, I reflected back on those days when he layed his time, money & life down for the members. We knew we can count on him if we are in need & I can never forget how even when we're all celebrating for him, he's constantly concerned & worried abt us sisters' well-being... Thru him, I see what is to be expected from a leader & the great responsibility he has for this large group of people... & more imptly, how he goes abt caring, worrying, fasting & praying for everyone because he loves us all... Aint we all fortunate... heehee...

Hahaha... The mastermind & her shou xia hee hee... It was the annual Xmas gathering at the maternal side of the family & we're plotting how to surprise Grandma w the cake. After violently objecting to letting my extremely clumsy brother carry the cake to no avail, I got ready to snap pics outside...

TADAH!!! A surprised grandmama... she actually thot we got the date wrong (actual bdae was on 26th mah) hahahaha... whoever's in the proximity of the 4 mikes sang the bdae song @ the top of their lungs... Poor neighbours hahaha...

Right. With all the good cheer going on waaaay b4 Christmas (btw, really fabulous musical tt the drama ministry put up tonite... Fantastic man...), there's bound to be a few annual boo-boos like human-sardine-in-trains, traffic jams on roads & airwaves & bombarded inboxes.

So bad that I only got to read and send some smses after the crucial hour has past.... Agnes, Jiaming *if u're reading this*, Martin & Guowei, I apologize for the huge delay in sending my sincere, self-composed, heart-felt Xmas sms ahhaha...

Speaking of which, our cell group made welcome gifts outta CDs... It's damn chio man... after decorating one side, we placed them in plastic CD cases w N182 on it w a barcode... Creative rite!!?!?!?! Me thinks it's a MASSIVE improvement from the welcome gifts for the Carnival. I fell in love w one piece filled w bold writings of diff font sizes.

Oh yah, & HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY to Melvin!!! Didnt bring camera but the entire cell group went to Melvin's house & with the cooperation of Melvin's mum & sis, we managed to get him down & surprised him w a choc cake @ the lift door & a loud "HAPPY BDAE" hahaha... Classic... Next was a barrage of waterbombs, eggs & floor that transformed our brother into a walking bee hoon kweh hahaha... It was precisely 12mn when we surprised him so Eliora & I spent the nite @ Liling's place b4 heading off for home nex morning... One thing we noticed was how Melvin was so concerned w how we 're going home in the midst of celebrating for him...

Called Hazel to let her noe thou... not nice to have the present changed lah. BUT that particular slipper design is not available at Citylink's outlet... A refreshing change from the usual psychedelic crap of Mtv (dont get me wrong... The MTVs are cool but well... too much of a good thing aint a good thing... Plus with Denise Keller's mega-big mouth covering a good 1/3 of her face ALL the time, it's giving me a major migraine.)

Popped by Martin's to chill out on the 19th. After watching Bourne Identity, Martin whipped out a bright & colourful box tt produced a grin so wide the side of my mouth ache muahahaha... Tears threatened to bubble over *hell, they did... I'm sucha cry-baby...* when I saw this glass angel w the golden cross... He may not know it but well, it's kinda symbolic of my new-found faith in God, this being my first Xmas experiencing the joy & cheer as a Christian...

B4 I finished oogling @ the angel, Martin pushed another heavier box into my face," & THIS, is your Xmas present". Didnt want to open it til Xmas but curiosity got the better of me... The name of the shop didnt register in my mind thou... Wonder what is it...

We totally went crazy & ordered *gulp* 2 XL & 2 L pizzas... *the new creamy chicken flavour is ABSOLUTELY finger/palm/plate- lckin' GOOOOD!!!* Dun noe how the hell to finish all that food man... There's potato salad Shuyun prepared & *super loud gasp* super-soft-&-moist blueberry muffins JA-NEH-NEH prepared... As u can see they're fast disappearing... AND the party had not started yet... sheesh... Betty Crocker ROCKS!!!

Frm what I can recall, candles went to Rachel, Li Qin got the scented stones, ZY had a cigarette case & the DOVE chocs landed in Huiling's hands. CD case went to Charles, Shuyun got a bear in a bottle, I got the Takashimaya wrapped present & Jingyi eventually settled for Garfield...

Ok, this was the aftermath of the too-fast-&-too-furious-for-clear-pic-to-b-taken fight for the biggest present... Apparently Shuyun's "6" looked like a "9" & it was an intense struggle between Gerard & Jingyi as they battled for the highly-favoured egg dustbin tt Jingyi bought... sheesh... It went on long enough for everyone to laugh for 1 full minute BEFORE the photographers snapped into action & took on the role of paparazzi to follow the 2 dumbos chasing each other around the coffee table... Here, Shuyun was trying to apologise to both as she tried (unsuccessfully as u can see, from the power of the death-grip both had their claws on the box) to explain who shd b the rightful new owner of the dumb dustbin... She even pacified Gerard like a momma telling her kid tt she'll buy an identical dustbin for him *smack forehead* but, knowing Gerard, it's not the present tt matters but the fight for it... buay tahan...

(oh btw, I'm typing on Martin's new Toshiba Satellite laptop *big wide happy grin* Love how effortless it is to type on this thing)

We're supposed to have a day of fun in the sun, sand & sea @ Sentosa but the turn-out was so depressing man... go figure out who're the original beach-goers above... PSYCHO!!! What happened?!?!? haiz... Plus there's no sun... PLUS there's (not surprisingly) a continual drizzle that drummed a steady reminder that December is totally a no-go for beach outings... BLEH!!!

So we decided to watch National Treasure & have dinner @ PS instead. Damn nice show... worth the $8.50 =) After tt the lot of us decided to hang ard in Starbucks, where I proceeded to infuse my detoxed-from-caffeine-system with Caramel Macchiato, so much so that I was fully alert & the only loser still online on 13th December 0400 hours... kns...

Oh yah, Eliora just msged me @ 0215 to tell me tt she's back from Thailand... That lucky grl!!! Think Thailand's a shopping paradise unlike JB man... (went there on 11th Dec w my mum, her sisters & sisters-in-law but only got 3 tops & *gasp* NO SHOES!!! Argh... & I had to rush back to b in time for church... next time wont go on Saturday liao... sheesh)

Cyberia's a little slacker this year compared to last... prob cos had the experience liao... or there's more str8forward stuff competitive sports as games so lesser planning... or I was under more pressure to perform well last year... quite fun lah overall. The only booboo is the slightly nauseating presence of a certain someone I cant be bothered to even mention his name. Oh yah... Yuqi keeeept falling asleep during course... & his Fireworks "panda" looked more like "snowman" than "panda" with that long pointed nose hahaha!!! Chio gao pheng man.... hahahahaha

Oh yah, Mei called me last nite from Thailand!!! Whoa... couldnt send her off since I had duty that morning (7th). Glad that she's enjoying herself thou the weather's surprisingly cold over there hmmm... Anyway she'll be back this Sunday =)

Went to play pool w Martin (he actually msged me tt "the girls of hong kong are so pretty! =)~~~~ *nose bleeds to death*" MEN...) on 6th b4 he went overseas the next day to HK & San Frans... lucky pig *which reminds me: we popped by Taka & upon hearing me whine abt the retarded pink-brown piggy not being on display, the sales assistant told me that "The pig will be back on Friday" which made us burst out laughing muahahaha!!! Macham it went away on a trip* Suddenly saw an *gasp* improvement... *actually think it's just luck cos I anyhow whack oso get in... which means I committed alot of booboos aka fouls* Like they say, got skill means got skill, no skill anyhow whack means luck... -_- But it was good heehee... Had a simple lunch together & suddenly, was reminded of how quickly he'll be leaving... & being surrounded by all that commercialized Xmas good cheer... makes one kinda sentimental...
